Dear Judy,
I don’t know what to do, which is why I’m writing. One of my good friends from way back has lung cancer, recently diagnosed. He hasn’t smoked in 10 years.
The thing is, he smoked a lot before. Like 3 packs a day, and so I guess even now that he’s stopped, it didn’t make much difference. I used to get on his case about this, pretty heavily and he ignored me for a long time, or told me to mind my own business. In fact he could be pretty rude.
My question is: Now that he’s sick, do I say something about this to him?
Lou
Dear Lou,
Absolutely not.
Thank you for writing
Judy
