    Dear Judy,

    I’m a personal assistant to a pretty powerful person in New York. His wife drove all of us crazy, not just me. She was the jealous type, I guess with reason, but since I wasn’t the one who was fooling around with her husband, it got old pretty quick.

    She died last week, and we’re all supposed to go to her funeral. My question is: Do I have to?

    Of course you don’t have to. But if you stay at home and boycott the funeral, guess what people will think?
