Dear Judy,
Maybe this is just me, but I can’t really believe so many people are thinking and asking questions about dying or death. At least it seems that way from the number of people who write you each week, and then the others who comment on whatever advice you give.
Personally, I don’t want to think about dying or death, and do my best not to.
Evelyn
Dear Evelyn,
Then what are you doing accessing thecheckoutline.org? And reading all the emails from my readers?
Seriously, though, although a lot of us are fearful of dying and some of us are even fearful of death — there are questions, practical ones, that I can answer. (Or if I don’t know the answer, I know some expert who does…)
So while it’s perfectly understandable that you don’t want to dwell on dying, it’s also inevitable that one day or another you’ll simply have no choice.
In my view, it’s best to do the sensible and logical stuff: prepare for that inevitable day, legally, rationally, and morally.
Thank you for writing. And keep reading!
Judy
